Precision Boring Machinery
This machine rough bored, inserted a bushing, and finish bored an appliance motor end shield utilizing a drawbar-actuated precision boring tool. An offline gauging system was used to verify proper bore size and adjustment was made through the Kaufman CNC System. This machine produced 388 parts per hour to 2.0 CPK on a total bore tolerance of .0005 in.
